Crash when you change the volume for Facetime #533

when i try to change the volume for facetime, the icon on the menu disappears, how can i fix that? also, when i connect my laptop to a bluetooth device, the audio stops working.

Thanks for the report. I just tried it and it happened for me as well. Background Music crashed with this error:

Uncaught CAException. Error code: 'iote' (1768911973).

I remember that there's some code that handles Facetime as a special case, so that code has probably stopped working on newer versions of macOS.

About the Bluetooth issue, that's probably a known bug, but it would be worth searching for existing issues related to Bluetooth and reporting a new one if none of them match what you're encountering.

I think this is the first time someone's reported the Facetime bug, so we can keep the issue open until we've fixed it.
