AirPods automatic ear detection / pause, etc not working #687

Description of the bug

AirPods Pro Gen 2 automatic ear detection stops working for example if I listen to Spotify normally if I remove an AirPods the music pauses and when I put it back in it resumes. Now if I remove it nothing happens, if I do take it out a couple of times it starts working but BGM just stops working on Youtube videos on safari and both play at the same time, I can get BGM working again by reselecting MacBook speakers and then AirPods again but this just stops the automatic ear detection again.

  1. Remove Airpods
  2. Music doesn't pause
