Someone asked about this at ELCE-2010 in Cambridge, and we think we might have
a use-case for it.
The idea is to expose sufficient functionality in-kernel to allow a kernel
process to "open" a pseudo-Ksock and send/receive messages.
My gut feeling is that this should be not too hard.
