Addressing a TODO from https://github.com/kyokan/bob-wallet/pull/655 and 1fc37dd26493be6f45f86dc11993a8ae4a9fa6d9.

Basically, I've been copy-pasting similar code until it seemed to start working, so ideally redundant parts are removed.
