BTW, I am sure you remember this, but below was the main inspiration for the picture display that I showed you and uploaded to our shared vision board, which you said was no problem for you to make initally:

I know you shared some concerns in your last email. So with both our concerns in mind, below are my 3 proposals revised from my previous request regarding this issue. Please let me know which option you want to execute. For the first 2 options (i.e. A and B listed below), I want to have the basic format to be similar to the Natalie Portman layout above with the black borders included (please keep in mind I may get the border color changed by someone else later on), but instead of the portrait (vertical) orientation, I want to have 4 square pic slots with borders:

Option A:

Add a warning next to “Select an Image” (see below for example) that says something like “Only square pictures can be uploaded” like how Instagram used to do it, and allow members to upload only square pics. And they can easily crop their non-square pics on their own phone. In this case, you will see very thin black borders with square thumbnails, on which you can click to see each pic in full size.

Option B:

Have thumbnails as glimpses full pics (i.e. non-cropped thumbnails), but without restricting them to be square-shaped. However, all the thumbnails should be placed within their own respective square grids as seen below. In this case, I want to avoid the black border since it may show too much black depending on the photo shapes.

Option C:

Preview only the main picture, but offer the option to click to see more even on the "People Using Kypsy” page as seen below (e.g. “More photos…” or just “ … “ as an easily visible symbol). In this case, I want to keep the polaroid pic format as the pic display format as we briefly discussed before. But, no black borders.:

It seems to me that option C may be the easiest for you to implement. And, I am fine with option C if you do prefer it after all. FYI, my preference would be in the order of A = C > B. In any case, please let me know what you want to implement out of those 3, or if not, feel free offer another option that will still show multiple pics from the page, "People Using Kypsy”.
