Robot patrol fails - incompatability? #181

See save. Basically, robots patrol for ~ 3 seconds before breaking and standing still forever—no idea why. I'm presuming a mod incompatibility but I'm not running much, and nothing obvious. Is this caused by removing unit control? Do the automatic behaviours not re-enable correctly?

Hello,

The removal of Unit Control may require that units are re-deployed - use the droid pick-up tool and pick them up and let them re-spawn to properly create and operate their squads AI again.

if that doesn't help, then a screenshot/description of how you set up the patrols will help me a lot.

The patrol mechanic is not particularly good, and honestly the Unit Control method of patrol waypoints and general operation of units is better than what I have programmed in my own mod. The patrol post and other things are because there was not a way to click or control clicks very well waaaay back when I first implemented it. Unit Control takes advantage of all the latest mod API from the developers ( and is made by Klonan, one of the devs) so it is a lot better and cleaner.

The only issue is AI Control vs Unit Control selection and interaction is not easy, so I have disabled the standard Robot Army AI when unit control mod is active.
