Status report on Godot 4 compatibility? #21

If you have the time, would you be able to let us know when this project is expected to be Godot 4 compatible?

I'm currently working on a load of bug fixes, but I do plan to re-code things to be Godot 4-compatible as soon as I've finished on version 3.0. A big change I want to do is allow different playlists in MDM, and also work on a visual graph-based editor for music (and possibly sound, too). Expect something like a mixture between FMOD, state machines, and UE's sound cues. I hesitate to put a definitive date on it, since I'm not very professional about this haha, but I don't expect to take any longer than a couple months. I hope that helps and answers your question :)

Nice to ears!

I would have prefer something closer of Wwise than FMOD, but whatever it's pretty cool to have a Godot4 version of GMD!

As I mentioned in #23 there seems to be a fork attempting a 4.0 update: https://github.com/amerizalde/Godot-Mixing-Desk

Hi! I created a totally new 4.0 version on my new account here https://github.com/irmozius/meta_player

This account (and thus repo) is inaccessible to me now :(
