Ive noticed that my download speed as of recent are very low. I have a chromebook and have downloaded before and have had no issues. download speeds drop to 1 then jump up then back down. I set at about 50 peers. Not sure Maybe you can give me some advice

Maybe this is known or I am missing something but the download speed is fast when the app is minimised, but crawls to 1kb/s when visible....as soon as you restore the app on screen you can seen the speed that it was downloading at, then it collapses to 1kp/s.

I'm not sure what's causing these issues yet. I recently tested with a large 40GB torrent and I also saw some slowdown after about 20GB downloaded. Did you also see this happen on very large torrents?

My experience has also been on small sized downloads [for example, Dr Who which was ~450 mb exhibited this same behaviour], but I have not tried to download anything over 5GB so I can't comment on super large sized downloads.

It seems to be the same whether I limit to 10 peers or 50 peers or 200 peers.....whenever the app is in view the speed crawls, when minimised the speed flies - then after about 2GB the download stops almost completely, even in a minimised state.

So I think you have two issues here.....speed when visible versus minimised, and speed degradation once a certain size limit is reached.

Any more updates here? Still have the speed issues if the app is left in full screen mode vs minimised.

It's still a mystery to me what's going on with your computer because I see the same speed with both full and minimized views...
