What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? wine 
1.7.19 ubuntu trusty i386

nb: previously has been installed with winetricks: fonts, dotnet40, msxml6

new test

As winecfg was set to win7 due to dotnet40 installation, i set it back to winxp 
and try again to install windowscodecs:
