Unable to set shortcut keys #30

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to use the preferences option to set keyboard shortcut
2. can't set up the shortcut
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should be able use a shortcut, like F4 to stop start the media file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MacBook Air OSX Yosemite

Please provide any additional information below.

Thank you :)

You can use the F1-F12 keys, but in combination with either the "ctrl", "alt" 
or "cmd"-key. So the shortcut would then be  "ctrl", "alt" or "cmd" + "fn" + 
"F1-12".
