I guess yaml is a bit easier / cleaner? https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/3.2/howto/initial-data/

And for fake data:

ORM testing (later on and if needed): https://factoryboy.readthedocs.io/en/stable/orms.html

@l1dge yes now with a fresh DB, it would be nice to run a fixture to get some data in ...
