What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On a Linux box, enable tethering via "adb forward tcp:8080 tcp:8080"
2. connect to irc.freenode.net, with any irc client.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to be able to connect to irc w/o error. Instead, the IP address of the
android device is immediately blocked by Freenode's open proxy scan.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
proxoid version 10, on android 2.1 (Moto Droid).
Please provide any additional information below.
Support at freenode support requested I contact the proxoid developers and ask
for a way to not accept proxy requests from the internet side.
If there is a way to do this already, I apologize - but I have not found a way
to do this within proxoid.
