What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fresh Install on ubuntu 11.10
2. Installed on a notebook that uses only an external monitor
3. Launc from shell
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ubuntu 11.10, Premotedroid server downloaded from this page
Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried looking in active processes, I can't see any process about
premotedroid, then It's not only a visual problem of the tray icon
