Since plex is having such great troubles deleting files I wrote this little bash script to read the decisions.log and delete the files after it's been run.

Hasn't this already been resolved in the beta version of Plex?

I just created a duplicate and tried removing it with dupefinder without issues. What am I missing?

I am more talking not everybody moves directly to the latest and it’s for helping those who don’t move to the latest… If you want to delete it, feel free I’m just trying to be helpful

I totally get that you're just trying to help. I'm just wondering if it'll actually be helpful as most won't notice a stray script in the folder. Might just be me, maybe @l3uddz has a different opinion.

I don't know that it's something for people to notice so much as a thing to point them to as a solution if they run into this.
