I think it would be great if we utilized prefers-color-scheme to automatically set dark mode based on what the user sets for their system.
(On macOS I use NightOwl as a convenient way to quickly switch dark mode on or off for the OS.
In addition to system apps, Firefox and VSCode (with the Auto Dark Mode extension) automatically switch modes with the OS.)
I might be able to work on this eventually but I'm not sure when when I can, so I thought I'd at least drop an issue in case anyone else is interested.
