@agrignard I am trying to draw a Bus Transit Map by shifting intersecting lines to put them side by side, but my code is not finished yet.

I pushed some updates.

Yeah, in fact what I tried to do is to shift lines to create, in GAMA, a transit map of the bus/texi network. To shift lines I :

• test if a line overlaps another one
• take the overlapping line and create a buffer around it
• divide to buffer to take only one side of it (so it will be the shifted line)

So I have two questions :

• is there a simpler way to do it ? If not, is there a way to know what side of the buffer to take (which one is on the left/top of the original line) ?

So is it link to visulize the bus network? I ma not sure to understand what you want to do in this model?

I want to display a transit map network of the bus/taxi/BRT network (similar to the RATP map)

Ok i see it would be great actually to have this visualization. However not sure we can make it 100% programmatically, maybe @tnguyenh can have some usefull insight on how to make it programmatically

I guess for now we can just get something like this:

There must be something to be done programmatically. Doesn't seem to be simple, but I can give it a try. I think having the lines on the roadmap, but just with a little work on the design and we should be fine.
