I can't reproduce this. It may help if someone else can verify this issue as
well.
Can you answer the following questions:

What version of Launchy are you using? 1.25?

Are the permissions on the file set to allow execution?

Is the file possibly corrupted? Try downloading/extracting again and running
chkdsk
on your system drive.

Is a virus scanner enabled that is possibly messing with memory? Try
temporarily
disabling it.

Do you have .NET installed? I don't think that it is required, but it may be
for
v1.1 because of the managed option form.

I had another report of this happening. I'll have to look into this. Probably
converting the CLR form to a native windows form will fix the problem.

Cool, maybe I'll just use the first one for now, since PuTTY is in my path.

I just saw this error after copying a local Launchy installation to my USB
drive (to
run in portable mode). The error occurred on a different PC. According to
Add/Remove
Programs, it *does* have the .NET framework installed (both 1.1 and 2.0). Would
the
plugin fail to load if PuTTY isn't found in the specified location?

Can you please try v1.2 and see if the same error occurs? Thanks.
