Not really. We do talk about interfaces at a high level, and programming to an API, but not those topics specifically. But you're right, it would be a valuable addition.

8 years ago Yea, I strongly advocate for adding that in the course. I think it's important enough.

Is there any discussion of interface description languages and remote procedure calls in this course? I think it could be a relevant discussion. Forgive me if it is a part of the course already, I didn't see anything in the syllabus that mentioned these topics.
