Backsub update #473

Fixed an existing overflow issue. Added commands for Nextflow to collect metrics.

@kbestak Thanks! Minor suggestion: you can get a clean commit history by deleting your fork and re-forking, which will make your master branch synchronized with labsyspharm:master. Obviously, this is not required; it will just make the pull requests look more tidy. Thanks for all your contributions!
