Upgrading to Runtime 1.0.0.830 #9

I want to start off saying how happy I am you chose to make this code available. I am having a lot of fun converting programs over to pi-friendly versions.

The RPiCCLV_1_0_2.img file hosted on google drive contains a runtime older than the one supplied in the GitHub archive.

In short, is there an image available with the newer runtime or is there a way to upgrade/install the runtime manually?

Thanks for your great work and attention regarding this matter.

Update: I was able to update the runtime by recreating some missing VIs in the compiler/downloader VI and making sure the runtime file location was correct. I can upload the modified VIs if anyone is interested.

I was not, however, able to install the runtime on a fresh Raspbian OS install. I would really like to be able to do this, as the features have come a long way in the past few years. I understand there is some communication happening over port 60434, but I am unable to get the new OS install to make the same connection. Do you have any tips to set this up?

Hello magoo4. Unfotunatally I can´t help you out with teh runtime problem (same problem here and still looking for a solution) but I am really interestet in you "recreated" missing VI´s. Could you please upload them?

Thanks in advance.

I have located my project folder and am uploading a zip of that as well as an image of my updated RPi image. Still based on Jessie, but at least a slightly more updated copy. I will post again shortly with the link

magoo4 commented 2 years ago

Here is a folder with the reworked compiler (now in LV2016) as well as an image you can load to the RPi microSD and a program file for an Arduino, in case you want to connect more sensors, etc.
