How do you manually remove the IBPlugin from a NIB for use in XCode4? #61

I have spent the last god knows how many hours trying to reinstall XCode3 onto 
Lion/Mountain Lion with limited success, I can compile the IBPlugin but IB wont 
recognise it for the NIB I am trying to clean up from a old project...

What can I do to remove the damned IBPlugin from the NIB so I can make changes 
to the interface in XCode4?

I really should of made the change along time ago but now I am stuck and I 
really dont want to rebuild the whole interface for this...
