[POLL] Rename the project? #245

The name "CrossOver" is a trademark for another software: https://www.codeweavers.com/crossover. I think it would be great to rename this project to avoid confusion and trademark infringement. My suggestion: "CrossOverlay".

That's a good name! Maybe... but most likely nah. It's just for fun. If I ever monetize it I'll think about it. keeping this open...

I mean, you don't have to change the name if you don't want to, but this app may conflict with theirs because of the same name and prevent a distro from including this app in the official repos. CodeWeaver's CrossOver was released in 2007 and is a completely different application.

I think CrossOverlay might be a good name because it's basically the same, but with 3 extra letters.

Your logic is sound, the name should change slightly. Even CrossOvr would work.

I like CrossBoss or CrosshairBoss, I'm strapped for free time but I intend to fix a few more bugs and release v4, then will likely rename.
