Is common for the Synology package? #117

It seems that you have clicked on the update button but you can't update with it (I think the update function isn't really crossplatform). IMO, you have to use the syno package instead (but I don't really know as I don't have a synology NAS).

I am using that Syno package. Except it's not on the latest version and I can't update it.

the XDM version is simply to old "source update" was implemented later something like 0.5.16

if you create a git repository out of your instal folder XDM can upgrade using git

I am a git noob, so all that didn't make any sense to me. :/

Yup, it can be closed. I have it running on my Synology system and the update function is working fine. Just updated to 0.5.18 myself. Originally installed from http://www.synocommunity.com/packages

@ardenee When I just tried to update to the latest release, XDM wouldn't come back online.

@SpiderDice Are you running the current version from http://www.synocommunity.com/packages ? I'm not sure if the older versions work, but I just installed this today and there was already an update on github which when I clicked, went through and updated to 0.5.18 for me.

I have both the SynoCommunity and SynoBeta sources added. XDM only comes up for me in the Beta package source.
