TraktTV and Discogs issue #195

Open stitchems-zz opened 9 years ago

stitchems-zz commented 9 years ago

Hi I just installed XDM and when I went to install the providers all installed correctly and everything restarted as it should but when I go to set up TraktTV and Discogs they don't appear in the system settings area and in the plugin manager they show up as not installed however when you click on them to install the console errors out saying they already are installed anyone have any suggestions on how to fix these provider plugins

You also Need to install The OAuth plugin it's a system plugin. Sorry there is no plugin dependency yet And the OAuth plugin might not work properly because trakt or discogs might redirect to the wrong url... When it redirects copy the url and replace the the domain and port with the location XDM is reachable

Ps in order to setup trakt or discogs you need to go the settings( after oauth is installed) And click the setup oauth button

It doesn't give me the option to set them up even after the console says a successful install they don't appear in the settings menu and the plugin manager says they aren't installed so I try to install again but it errors out saying they are already installed On Aug 23, 2015 05:50, "lad1337" notifications@github.com wrote:

I was actually able to fix the original issue but now I'm running into that issue you posted in your reply about the wrong address and when I copy and correct then retry it comes up with an error and doesn't work any idea on that could it be because I'm on chrome

Here are some screen shots if they will help at all.

First one shows oAuth on in the settings Second Shows TraktTV when I click connect Last One shows the error after I have copied the address from the failed redirect and then corrected the address and pasted it into a new window still with the xdm window open oauth on trakttv on after copy paste

stitchems-zz commented 9 years ago

It also looks like the same error is causing problems with Discogs as well and randomly when I will do the copy and paste the I get an error that requires me to go into my Synology DSM and shut down and restart the XDM service in order to get it back online discogs

stitchems-zz commented 9 years ago

and here is the error page for the issue that causes me to have to reset the whole XDM service on synology to get it back up and running error causing crash

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone had been able to figure this one out coding isn't one of my strong areas so i'm a bit lost on how to fix this problem I even tried installing a copy of XDM on my desktop and doing the process there so that localhost would be the correct location but it still gave the same error as with the above tries. thank you all in advance for the help
