[Feature Request] Meta-data Module #66

I'm placing this request more as reference for myself or anyone who is willing to create before i have done it.

Grab meta-data like posters, banners, etc to use in for example XBMC

would you want the meta data to be written next to the movie ? if so it would require a new meta data writer plugin as a post processor

the data is already in XDM including images

Yeah next to movies/series and in a format used by different systems like XBMC, MediaBrowser, Synology, Tivo, WDTV etc. (as seen in SickBeard)

This feature would really make XDM more complete, generation of meta-data and banners for shows,seasons and episodes is the only thing i still miss from Sickbeard. Are there any plans on trying to integrate this functionality in a plugin?
