Refactored UWG code for FATAL ERROR handling, and required inputs check. #48

@chriswmackey I'll let you merge this if you think it's good. I'm not exactly sure if this is the correct way to update our uwg dependency in DF or if there's some other way already in DF that I'm not aware of (i.e through the installer), but it's here if needed.
