For anyone else following this thread who did not know what an HUD is and had to search for it, it stands for "head's up display": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HUD_(video_gaming)
@timurglobal , Could you be more specific about what type of HUD you are imagining? Is it still geometry in the Rhino scene or is it a pop-up window, or a plugin interface like the one that Miguel release with Icarus in the last stable release: https://youtu.be/IrN064ea4Is

Hi Chris, Yeah, exactly like Miguel's plugin interface. No pop-ups or rhino geometries. Maybe an addition to Legend par component where you can toggle HUD on and off (maybe with addition to be able to set their position in the Rhino viewport).
It may be worth looking at the conduit plugin for ideas on how to implement this (they have a number of HUD visuals). https://provingground.io/tools/conduit-for-grasshopper/
Hello dear LB/HB team.
Through Rhino's flexibility you can gain full control over the scene you are working on and further enhance the impact in post-processing. I would like to suggest a feature that I have thought about too many times since my flight with ladybug. To better show what I mean I prepared some screenshots:
Here is how most of users would go and present their graphs and charts, simple top view is enough.
But sometimes there is a need to show a detail or emphasize something and one might go with perspective view. This is where you have to limit yourself to a certain degree where you want the legend and title still be visible.
So if you want to show a detail from a radical view point where legend/title are not visible, the only option for you is either legend/title base point tweaking or post-processing (both time consuming).
I tried Orient2Camera component with similar tweaking problems.
What I would like to suggest is an ability to toggle HUD when necessary. So it could look something like this: I think it looks very nice and quite professional without boring tweaking. I would like to believe that this feature will be welcomed and useful among other users (especially students since we like radical and creative new ideas and experimenting XD)
Please let me know what you think and whether it is easy to implement, I might have a couple suggestions on how to give more control over the function.
With respect, Tim.
P.S. Could you kindly explain to me how to label the issue (if I can of course), thank you.
