Looking ahead:

Could we get some of Daniel's code up here for computing a basis of the ordinary space?

A good start would just be the function that tests if d OMS's are linearly independent by checking their vectors of total measures.

I've talked to him about that, I think right now he's finishing up writing a paper. Perhaps he's listening in to us and can comment.

CPU is due tomorrow, so after that I can see what's going on. If the p-adics in sage have been upgraded enough then much of my code may simplify, as we discussed.
