Server Hosting #15

I'd like to work on some performance stuff, and am researching into that. However, the server that it is on now, is a wonderful Git based deployment solution that makes changes/rollbacks really easy.

The hosting is free, but if there isn't constant traffic to the site, the server will sleep and when you go there, it can take 5-10 seconds to "wake up".

To keep the server alive, it would be 4 bucks a month, is that a cost you would want to take on? I can help you set that up, and also route that subdomain.

Can we get this on to my webserver somehow? I have lots of space and bandwidth to spare. I have hosting services at Media Temple (worm-media)and Dreamhost (returnofthenativehawaii.com)

Yeah lets try it. It's not as stable or easy to revert changes, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it. It will also be easier to do a folder than a subdomain, like returnofthenativehawaii.com/demo or something.

I'll need SFTP credentials for your server (email those, this is a public conversation)

Putting it up now, we will see how it holds up. Check it in the morning (i'm sure the Panos will take a while)

Looks like its running. It's got some issues on iOS for me though (mostly sounds not triggering), but I don't think that's a host issue.

Right now it's at worm-media.com/demo

Is there something else that would be better?
