I had the need to pass in some parameters to ember server, so I figured it'd be worth PR-ing.

Glad to help! I may have one or two more on the way -- panel resizing mainly. Shame there's no built-in feature for it in Atom, but the way tree-view does it seems pretty straightforward to replicate.
