This was the intended behaviour of the application in the current version. Of course, improvements could be made to cater to students from different coures. However, this would mean a thorough analysis of each module, which is not practical in the short span of the current product development. The adding of categories was intended to ease the user the trouble of adding similar common categories. However, if the user does not need the particular category, he could always delete them.
If given the opportunity, we would most certainly try to improve the user-friendliness of our product to as many groups of NUS students as possible. However, as mentioned, this cannot be effectively implemented within a short span of a product's devleopment.

User guide state that all 4 category will automatically be added for user. I think they are trying to be nice, but yet this is totally useless for example fass student using this program don't labs in 95% of the mods that they are taking. Thus, they always have to end up deleting this lab category on thier own which make this useless. Good to be nice, but should cater to the mods instead of adding 4 category randomly and unneccessarily.
