@finneyj the pairing mode experience on V2 has shown just how much better the shorter animation is. Could this be merged please? Would like it to go into the next MakeCode release.

Yep - a trivial change, and if it improves UX and aligns v1/v2, this is a no brainer.

@finneyj Great thanks, could you please made a release that MakeCode can use? Currently we're on https://github.com/microsoft/pxt-microbit/blob/master/pxtarget.json#L175 "v2.2.0-rc6" and we'd like to bump to a new version for /beta
