Why?
Why not? This is just a suggestion.
I am working on a RISC-V minimal Linux rootfs and experimenting toybox, right now I am compiling myself. Just wanted to let you know that some people may want to experiment toybox in RISC-V hardware. There are RISC-V toolchains ready to use in https://musl.cc/
Sigh, if there's interest. But I'd add or1k support at the same time.
I've had a hard time taking RISC-V seriously. I'm not sure how much of that is due to the time I spent working on j-core.org and how much is remembering the Itanium hype cycle: https://web.archive.org/web/20010414015551/http://www.fool.com/portfolios/rulemaker/2000/rulemaker000901.htm
Would be nice https://landley.net/toybox/downloads/binaries/ had static binaries for riscv64
