Autoplay for KML based tours

I write KML based tours 'on the fly' and then have to explain to my
audience that not only do they have to click on 'open in google earth'
after clicking on the .kml, but also to explain to them about pressing
the play button.

I would like to do a number of things:

'Autostart' the tour

Override the defaults for flight speed etc

set timings, e.g. pauses within the tour

This could all be done on the basis that the user is given a dialog saying
'click to start tour, your default speeds etc may be overridden during the
tour play'

this is a large issue and it's a waste of technology just because of a basic 
function not implemented google earth can't be used in realtime.
