Does Snippy fails to access to Google Docs? -- from a China user

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Sometimes Snippy can't upload snippies which is originally in 
"http://www.williamlong.info/archives/2236.html" to Google Docs.
However I can still upload snippies from other sites.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm not quiet sure why snippy fails. 
I guess it is caused by:
1:Bugs of snippy
2:SSL-encrypted Google Docs is forbidden in mainland China due to some 
political reasons. 
3:The government's IPS finds "sensitive" words in the snippy(although the 
article here has nothing about politics) 

Is it affecting the Snippy chrome extension, or the SnipBin web
application?

On what operating system?

Windows7 build7600 with Chrome 5.0.375.99 and Snippy 0.3.0
