What were you trying to grab?
I wanted to capture the How-To tips from,
http://www.cultofmac.com/95739/how-to-crop-any-image-to-a-perfect-square-using-p
review-100-tips-54/, and combine into a single document for later reference. To
date, this was a total of 54 snippets.
What went wrong? How Snippy failed to capture what you wanted?
I was consistently able to grab around 20 pages, before the Snippy plugin would
eventually crash, losing all snippets past the initial 20.
This was preceded by the following symptoms. (ps. I have a relatively slow
internet connection, 2048/384kb/s.)
* Snippy tool would jitter when opening, rather than smoothly expand open when
clicking the tool-tip.
* The Snippy counter in the toolbar would cease incrementing
* The "Show Snippets" page would sit and time out with a Chrome warning to
either kill or wait for the page. Waiting, would eventually after several
minutes show the page, but after several times viewing this, the Snippy app
would eventually crash, with a warning balloon telling me this, and requesting
I restart the app.
What was the expected output?
I was expecting to be able to grab the complete 54 snippets, into a single
document.
On what operating system?
Mac OS X 10.6.8
with Google Chrome, v14.0.835.186
Which version of the Snippy chrome extension are you using?
v0.3.0
