5 years ago I'm thinking that a simple page which shows the "high scores" for the last week/month/forever would be interesting. @omegabytes when you ingest from datasf/311, do you get the emails and/or names of the users that reported the incidents? If not, we'd have to POST all reports to our server as well in order to keep track of these stats.
How can we keep users engaged? If we're authenticating users on behalf of 311, we may be able to piggyback of the IDs and do some kind of score board ("I'm the bike mayor of Polk St!") or add a "would you like to tweet this report?" feature, etc.
This is open ended and will generate specific tasks after some conversation here and in person.
