tracking usage

we should think about a way to track some statistics about the site:

• how many distinct accounts
• how many researcher logins
• how many forms completed
• general traffic

and maybe then be able to look at these per all time, year, month. and for forms, per instrument.

could we do this with google analytics? seems potentially possible?

@mcfrank If you set up a Google Analytics account and make me a collaborator (I'm not sure what title they use) I should be able to install analytics which will give you some data. We can then see if that meets your needs
