And finally, in Chapter 12, in 12.2.1 (time), I thought it might relevant to cite Harner (1975) on children’s initial confusions of yesterday and tomorrow (she also looked at their early grasp of tense for past and future reference, 1976). And in 12.3.3 (body parts), you might cite Andersen (1978). In 12.3.4 (logic), I think you have to be cautious about early production vs. later production with an adult-like meaning attached: Children could well pick up some logical terms in certain contexts and use them only there, with a partial meaning, and only later get the full (adult) meaning (Katsos et al. 2016). And CDI data from the WS forms offer no evidence about the actual meaning the child has attached to any one word-form.
