Wallet will not sync #116

Wallet has not synced for 33 hours.

Nevermind, its because the doge network is very loaded rn, and some nodes dont prefer lite wallets.

you can decrypt the wallet to move them via core wallet.

I prefer this wallet, I can wait, the question if it will be fixed. we don't know what exactly happened. if it is problem of nodes, it will get be fixed. if there is fork or unexpected happened. there is chance to lose coin. just checked my own dogecoin wallet, also no sync but i dont leave a balance on this wallet now.

Having the same issue. Two days now.

you can decrypt the backup and move doge via core wallet. i has hired btc2doge.com to help me recovered my dogecoin via core wallet. but that is a paid service. if you know how to decrypt, you can do it by yourself.

I prefer to stay on this wallet even to wait, But I don't know if it will be fixed.

If I have backup of the wallet, and how can move the balance, If I swap to paper wallet?

I added some trusted peers and it almost instantly caught up (having had 3 days with no activity). I found the list on Reddit and put in less than 10 of those in settings in the app. Good luck!

EDIT: seems this was just coincidental as the developer added new peers, so ignore this! Glad it's working!

Here's the link that contains some peers (this was based on lots of searching, and who knows what they really are, but nobody seemed to complain in the comments). I used the addresses after the connect= parts.

In Settings-Settings-Trusted Peer, I added a selection of them, separating addresses with a space as instructed in the app. Exited settings and went to Network Monitor and several of them appeared and everything was working.

Sure hope it helps everyone else with the problem. I had tried for a couple of days, and it was showing 3 days behind. For those of you that are significantly behind, this might not help.

I am 46 hours behind, I think if to wait more, I see the balance update.

It was fixed by it self without changing peers

yes, the developer added new nodes to fix this problem.
