\begin{mdframed}[style=greyexercisenologo] results in black box in 3-minimalism.tex #138

% Hack because of the footnote
\begin{mdframed}[style=greyexercisenologo]
As I have shown in Section~\ref{Abschnitt-MG} and in \citew{MuellerUnifying} and will also show in
the following chapters and the discussion chapters in particular, there are most certainly similarities between the various analyses on the market
and they do converge in certain respects. The way of getting out of the current crisis lies with the
empirically"=grounded and theoretically broad education and training of following generations.

In short: both teachers and students should read the medical record by Sternefeld and Richter. I implore the students not to abandon their studies straight
after reading it, but rather to postpone this decision at least until after they have read the remaining chapters of this book.
\end{mdframed}

greyexercisenologo is not a style defined within langsci-tbls.

The definition goes:

https://github.com/langsci/25/blob/e82d542ebc1e259803d02d33f780335cef3bde56/localcommands.tex#L331

So you have probably forgotten to set \tblsboxcolor to the background colour you'd like.

stefan11 commented 4 years ago

For me all this is (black =;-) magic. I did not set anything. This is all your code. Maybe there was something in earlier versions of langsci-tbls.sty that mad it work. Since I do not know what to look for, I cannot even check this.

I removed this black box since it was for a hack only. I may need something like this when doing the fine type setting.

kopeckyf commented 4 years ago

The styles are designed to be deployed within document commands, e.g. you would have:

\newcommand{\box}[2] % #1 = colour, #2 = content
  {%
    \renewcommand{\tblsboxcolour}{#1}
    \begin{mdframed}[style=greyexercisenologo]
    #2
    \end{mdframed}%
  }

The mdframed-styles are not designed to be used in their raw form in documents.

OK. Thanks. I will typeset the book within the next days and I can check whether I will run into any situation where I need it.
