special commands for operators cause too much space (understudied-languages.tex, udc.tex) #172

I defined

\newcommand{\ominusAVM}{\hbox{${}\ominus{}$}\ignorespaces}

But this adds space before \ominus and it looks different from what the built-in + does.

Would it be possible to get similar operators like \shuffle and + for use in AVMs?

Felix: \unskip was missing: \newcommand{\ominusAVM}{\unskip\hbox{${}\ominus{}$}\ignorespaces}

This is better now, but there is still more space after the command than after -. I guess this is due to the fact that 2 is below "l" and the box does not count for layout.

In udc.tex $\cup$ produces:

grafik

and \capAVM produces:

grafik

Both spacings are different and non correct.
