[LO add-on] Option for region-specific rules #15

Hello @FredKruse

In Portuguese, we have language variants such as “Portuguese (Portugal)” and “Portuguese (Brazil)”, etc.

And English has “English (UK)” and “English (US)”, etc.

Could there be an option in the add-on settings to show the language-specific rules?

For example: English (UK) the checkboxes of the rules in the grammar.xml for UK.

(and below it:)

English (UK) the checkboxes of the rules in the grammar.xml for US.

This way, the GUI of the add-on would be more user-friendly and more powerful.

I have thought about this enhancement and think we should not realize it. This would affect LT as a whole, not only the extension. The possibility to mix different variants have to be installed. As far as I understand the concept of variants, it means, that all common rules of a language are available in all variants. Only the differences of the same language used in different countries are represented by special rules. I think this should not be mixed. So, I would like to cancel this issue. @danielnaber What do you think?

@FredKruse I agree, it doesn't seem worth it considering the effort
