Tilda hardware acceleration! #126

Before telling me that it does not need something like this, please let me explain!

When using the proprietary driver for AMD graphical cards, Tilda does something very interesting. When you scroll down it flashes the text, and it does so in a very frustrating way. I know the problem could be resolved by using the xorg driver and not fglrx, but if i do so, the driver will only use my integrated video card, that beeing the Intel HD Graphics 4000 and not the Radeon HD8730. I don't think AMD will consider remedying this issue, it's a system wide issue for apps that don't use hardware acceleration.

Thanks, and please make this possible, i absolutely love Tilda and this thing makes it impossible to use, you can't follow anything the terminal does. I cant even find an alternative that works the way i want.

PS You're doing a grate job!

Do you have the same problem when using gnome-terminal?

physicalit commented 9 years ago

No.

Which version of gnome-terminal do you have installed?

Thank you for this program I love it! I'm also seeing this one using AMD drivers on ubuntu. My gnome-terminal version is 3.6.2. I think I'll just use the x.org drivers though. They work fine.
