Some lines get hidden randomly #289

Hello, The behaviour of Tilda in my Ubuntu Mate is not easy to explain but easy to reproduce. When doing ll, man, less, more, or even hiding and showing with the shortcut a bit fast, Tilda wont show all lines, usually the last half but can be all of them or just a few in the middle (including the prompt).

What is more strange, cannot get a screenshot because the picture shows the terminal full of lines. Find You can see in the attached photo the terminal half printed, and the screenshot where it is full of lines. tilda

Also, if I drag another window over Tilda while the bug is active, the areas being covered with that window recovers the info, even in the middle of the line, while the rest keeps hidden.

Tilda is the only app where this happens.

Ubuntu Mate 16.04 (virtual machine) Tilda 1.3.1 (from apt)

To me it sounds like probably a video driver or window manager bug rather than tilda or vte.

Well, since this is the only app where this happens I got doubts. Any more test I can do to correctly address the issue?

I really don't think any application should be able to legally, intentionally say "this is how I want my window to look, but in case anyone takes a screenshot, this other different content should be taken". This pretty much excludes the possibility of the bug being in gtk, vte or tilda.

It could be that it's only vte or tilda that somehow triggers the issue.
