Tilda disappears for no reason and can't restore it #294

I've been using Tilda for couple of months now. It's the best terminal application I ever used. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and I configured F12 to pull down Tilda. Recently, Tilda disappears for no obvious reason and when I press F12 to pull it down, nothing happens. If I start Tilda again, a new session of Tilda appears with default settings. When I run top in another terminal window, I don't see Tilda running at all. Any ideas why is this happening and how can I fix it? Thanks

I guess you could launch Tilda from another terminal ; this way you would have some debugging informations when it crashes.

@HKervadec I tried doing so and there is no output. One case I can reproduce is if you alt+tab and select show desktop while tilda is visible.

You can try using strace tilda to get more logs..

I'm having the same problem.
