Long story short - if the tilda window is forwarded (via X11) to a Windows machine it is very problematic to move and resize it.
I have recently started to work with a Linux VM on my Windows computer. I find it most comfortable to forward the GUI over ssh connection. Unfortunately, the forwarded window of Tilda cannot be moved or resized with the mouse or via conventional keyboard shortcuts (WinKey + arrow).
This problem didn't happen with any other program I tested, including other terminals. The only way I could resize/move the window was through the preferences window (by the way, the preferences window was resizeable & moveable).
This is pretty specific problem, and it may be solved by switching terminal program, but I thought you might want to know about this...
