@xhs345 Curious why you closed? Guessing it worked without changes? if any are needed then please re-open a PR and I'll be happy to accept.

Yes, I ended up making my own fork for Resque2 compatibility, which we're using in Production now. Happy to open a new PR to see if it can get merged back.

Edit: Looking at the PR the changes are a lot less than I though, so I don't think it's required

If you feel something is needed, happy to facilitate a new gem and 'official' release in a new PR or re-open and update of this one.
