Removing self from attendees doesn't change anything

I was prompted to log hours for a past event (which I nominally
coordinated, but did not attend). I tried to remove myself from attendees,
but it did not work. Additionally, the light blue banner prompting me to do
so remained at the top of my profile.

right now you can't remove yourself from an event for which you are considered 
an
"owner". log 0 hours. I'll look into changing the prompt for when you're the 
event
coordinator to say (log 0 or more hours)
