Signed up events are not diplayed as 'Upcoming Events'. #247

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Login to flash volunteer.
2. Sign up for any event.
3. Navigate to your profile page
Expected -> You should be able to see the signed up event as your upcoming 
event.
Actual-> The signed up event is not displayed as an upcoming event.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What web browser are you using (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer)?

Please provide any additional information below.
